Product catalogues: what to know

A catalogue is the business card of your whole offer. Clients look through it in a meeting, take it from your trade fair stand or keep it on their desk while comparing suppliers. So besides the design, print quality matters: true-to-life product photos, even trimming and a binding that does not fall apart after a few reads.

We print saddle-stitched catalogues (stapled), the most common choice for a few dozen pages, and perfect-bound ones with a book-style spine, which suit thicker publications better. Price lists and technical catalogues that need to lie flat on the table are spiral bound, and premium or anniversary editions are hardcover.

For product photos we usually recommend matt or gloss coated paper, with a heavier laminated cover. If you do not have a layout yet, we can create one from your copy and photos. You get a quote with the production date within one business day, including for large runs.

Preparing your files

  • PDF in CMYK with 3 mm bleed on every side.
  • Images at 300 dpi or more at 100% size.
  • Fonts embedded or converted to outlines.
  • Keep key content at least 5 mm from the trim; saddle-stitched page counts must be divisible by 4.

Which binding should I choose for my catalogue?

For a few dozen pages, saddle stitching is the most common choice. Thicker catalogues look better perfect bound, and price lists and manuals work well spiral bound. Tell us how many pages your catalogue has and we will advise.

How many pages can a saddle-stitched catalogue have?

The page count must be divisible by 4, and saddle stitching works for up to a few dozen pages. The exact limit depends on the paper weight. For thicker publications we will recommend perfect binding.

Can you print a catalogue for a specific trade fair date?

Yes. Give us the date in your enquiry and the quote will include production and delivery dates. Express production is available for an extra fee for urgent jobs.

Pan był mega pomocny i w niecałą godzinę miałem gotowe 60 przepięknych zaproszeń. Papier i jakość druku robią naprawdę świetne wrażenie, wszystko wygląda i w dotyku jest bardzo premium, a jeżeli chodzi o wybór papierów i wykończeń to na pewno każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Do tego ceny są bardzo uczciwe jak za taką jakość. Najbardziej rozbroiło mnie to, że dostaliśmy jeszcze „kilka” dodatkowych zaproszeń gratis finalnie chyba z 20 xd, taki prezent od firmy "Na wszelki wypadek".

    Naprawdę świetne miejsce i super podejście do klienta. Widać, że zależy im, żeby człowiek wyszedł zadowolony.
